Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

This diploma is awarded to students who complete our Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program at Anderson College. Through hands-on training in modern labs and clinical placements, students gain the skills to operate ultrasound equipment, capture diagnostic images, assist in patient care, and support physicians in interpreting results. The program is accredited by Accreditation Canada EQual, making graduates eligible to write the national certification exam through Sonography Canada. Successful candidates earn the title of Canadian Generalist Sonographer and must register with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) to work in Ontario.
